Love this and brought smiles of memories from childhood back to me! Many thanks for that. Every Christmas Eve my folks used to splurge and have Andre Cold Duck in martini glasses at the table — a beautiful pink color! I had the same glass (a special treat) with 7-Up and maraschino cherry juice so my dress also had pink 😊 Love your poem!

Thanks for your kind words! I have to confess that I have never had Cold Duck! Now I will have to gather the ingredients and try it. I’ll think of you when I do 🙂

Waddle waddle, let’s not dawdle, toast life’s lovely, lively moment! Celebrate each day our time together, our souls dance close, each, the other, in love to coddle.

That’s brilliant. A wine glass from a poem. What will you think of next. You know how I love ducks. Cold or not. Not much of a champagne drinker. But I love the glasses. :))

Thanks Marlene! The drink originated in Germany. It’s actually 2/3 wine and 1/3 champagne. And a splash of lemon! I’ve never had it, so maybe we’ll have to try it together sometime. 😉

Sounds like a plan. I always want a mimosa with Sunday brunch but can’t afford to start drinking before I have to drive home.:( Mixing them might calm the bubbles down. They usually choke me.
