I’m no dummy. Cold is mean to my face and head. I’d have to wrap up like a mummy to go out there. Brrrr.

We did get our Iceland boots out! Warm feet and good traction helped. But the cold did feel nice and refreshing!

It’s been very cold here in Central Oregon … New Year’s day it was 0 degrees when I got up, sure makes me want to fly south. We have several flocks of geese, though, that winter here. On a hike on Saturday, we watched a small group land on the river with the ice and snow surrounding them. It was magical. Happy New Year, my friend!
