Getting around … in Amsterdam

The people of Amsterdam never cease to amaze me! From the safety of a sidewalk cafe or a bench in Vondelpark, watching the world of traffic go by is entertaining. Bicycles, horse-drawn carts, buses, streetcars, motorcycles, automobiles, boats and of course pedestrians move at a dizzying speed. Even during rush hour, traffic always seems to flow smoothly! On land and water!

  1. I can honestly confess, “I’m jealous of your travels,” but in the very best of ways. Thanks for sharing your adventures, my friend!

    • Thanks Missy! I am glad to have you along on these adventures! If you haven’t been to Amsterdam, put it on your list. There’s no other place like it!! The people, the atmosphere, fantastic international restaurants, museums, parks, architecture and so much more. We generally start or end our European trips there. Plus we have a great direct flight from Portland. 😊
