Early spring flowers
Sudden rain showers
Red-breasted sapsucker
His wings flutter
Drills holes in a perfect row
Until the tree sap starts to flow
High in the trees perched is a most regal
Beautiful, majestic bald eagle
Spring appeared over night
What a delight!
Beautifully captured in words and photos.

Gorgeous pictures. Been battling a cold. Sorry we haven’t connected yet. Karen is going to a Irsh geanology forum on Saturday. Hope we can connect soon.

GREAT photos!! Loved the poem too. 🙂 Spring is making sure we know it’s coming. Hope you are feeling better. Can’t get my spring back just yet. Scattered. Maybe another week and all will be well.

Hi Marlene! Glad you like this post! I am stuck on today’s! 😢
Having technical issues trying to get photos from my iPhone onto the computer. Always worked like a charm, now not at all!
I guess I’ll have to improvise until I figure this out! 😬
Have a great rest of the day! 💐

I hate when that happens. 😦 Hope all goes well this week with TS away. 🙂 I have lots of photos to work on. I spend everyday in overwhelm.

Apple products used to work so well, but I am encountering more and more problems. 🙁 But I am positive that I will prevail! 😉

I believe you will too. I think it’s the electricity in the air causing lots of problems. Call me crazy….

Your photos make me miss my gardens on the Olympic Peninsula! I can smell them in my skull. We have wildflowers here in the Rockies. Most of what I plant in the “yard” has survived ground rodents or deer or snow or not at all. I’m pretty limited on flowers. Love looking at yours. I’m going to pick out just one cherry (?) blossom to practice water color painting.

When you finish your painting, you should do a post! I’d love to see it! Your kites were beautiful! Have a great Sunday! 😊

Thanks! If I like the painting enough I will share it and link to your post. My kites are being used in another play by the same director so I still don’t have them back but I love that my art is being shown.

I did indeed paint your cherry blossoms. I printed the image for reference but it was a dark print. I should have used my screen instead. It’s my 4th watercolor painting and the only one not a landscape. Here’s the post link: https://skybluedaze.wordpress.com/2016/04/24/blossom-time/
