Urban green spaces
Luxury or necessity?

No matter where in the world we find ourselves, we always make sure to take the time to explore local parks and green spaces. During this trip to London, my favorite park was definitely St. James Park! It’s hard to believe that just beyond this calming sea of green you are in the middle of London!

Strolling along Birdcage Walk in Westminster’s St. James Park was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of sight seeing, and a reminder to enjoy and appreciate the simple things in life. Like this beautiful park!

What’s your favorite park?

  1. That one looks lush and green. I think Butchart Gardens in Victoria, Canada is an all time favorite but then, I haven’t been to many. Hope you are having a Zen Sunday too.My weekend has been packed full. I’m ready for a vacation.

  2. Hey Sabine! Green-space = definitely a necessity! As far as a favorite park, really hard question. There are so many lovely ones…so I’ll just continue to enjoy each for their own special aspects. Have a great week!

That is a beautiful park. Urban parks are so important. The Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park is a favorite of mine. Thanks for the post cards.

  4. I love parks, especially urban ones! Especially in hot countries – so refreshing. Your photos are so beautiful – not just in this post but always. Your food pictures, for example. I find it quite hard to take great photos of food (which is why I don’t – or maybe because I don’t?)
