Vibrant leaves crunching
underfoot. Summer now all
but a memory.
This was one of my very favorite walks for the entire year!
The breeze, the sun, the autumn leaves showing off their most dazzling array of color,
the clear blue sky and the peaceful quiet made my heart sing with joy.
What a beautiful day to be alive!

Great collection of photos. Love the autumn. Hope you had a Zen Sunday. Took my niece to the airport this morning. Now I need a nap. Woke at 3. Darn daylight savings.

I did have a Zen Sunday! Had a quiet day and then made fondue for some friends who came over. Looking forward to Thursday! 😊

Yes, the leaves crunch underfoot. They also pile up in the driveway, blow into the garage, and hide the little screw I drop when working in there. I love them anyway.

Same here! I was hoping for a little wind to blow the leaves down the street! 😉 But I actually enjoy being outside and raking them up!
