Escaping the rut …
A day of fun in the sun
makes a happy heart …
We spent a couple of days last week at our favorite beach to relax and unwind from all the daily stresses in life.
The sun was shining, the winds were calm and everyone there seemed to just soak it all in.
Local artists hide/place handblown glass float along the beaches here. If you find one, it’s yours to keep!
I’ve not been lucky so far, but my husband bought this beautiful heart I spotted at the shop.
Owwwwww woooooooo! So beautiful, I could just see myself there! Rock on MuddyBoots!

Thanks so much Arlene! There is nothing like the beach to me. Do you live near a beach? I imagine they must be tropical and the water is warmer than here. Enjoy your week! 🙋

Unfortunately we don’t. If we want to go to a beach we have to plan way ahead. There are so many lovely beaches here that one could enjoy all year round but we live in the city so they’re about 2 to 3 hours of travel.

So nice! I haven’t been out to the beach since I went to see the Iris. The garden has been keeping me so busy! And Happy.

Happy is good Christine! Our iris are just about to bloom and I am excited to be at home for this flower show this spring. I hope everyone is well! Give Rosalie a hug from me!! 🙋

The whole collection is a beautiful and original approach to sun and sand and wind and waves. I trust that the glass floats enjoyed a change from the usual routine of adorning a Xmas tree for part of the winter and sleeping in storage otherwise.

Thanks Mel! I’m glad you like the photos. The glass sphere I purchased from a local artist. It will travel to Germany for Mother’s Day. Thanks for stopping by! 😊
