tuckered out hummer
during the height of summer
ready for a nap.
Hummingbirds have been constant visitors in my garden this summer.
Generally, they zip all over the place at neck-breaking speed, then perch on a branch to rest a moment or two.
And they always keep a close eye on me!
Have a Zen Zunday!

Superb moments you captured in these photos. Very nice rhythm and reason
in your poem.

You are incredibly patient to get those shots. They are amazing. Sunday was interesting. Loved the rain that we had so little of. We need more but my roof is very happy. 🙂

Thank you Marlene! Those up close moments are a kind of meditation for me. I have to really slow down, and melt into the scenery while also getting close. I often also just get close without the camera and they always seem to really check me out too! 😉

Pretty. We noticed one sitting on a branch the other day while out walking. I don’t usually see them sitting, either. They are all energy. Have a great week, my friend.
