When I discovered these incredible pieces of art on display in an office I’ve been to a number of times, it surprised even me that I had never noticed them before. I came back again after the appointment for a few more pictures and then googled the artist when I got home. On her website, Anne F. Crumpacker explains how an inspiration some twenty years ago led her to create these living topographies. Take a look at her other artwork online if you’re curious!
Have a Zen week!

It’s stunning!! It’s funny what we don’t see unless we take the time to look. Most of us pass things all the time. It’s like looking for our keys when they are right in front of us. Have a wonderful week ahead.

You’re right, Marlene! We’re so often in a hurry that we miss all kinds of things around us. Have a good week too, Marlene!

Beautiful, Sabine! 🙂 Reminds me of some of M.C. Escher’s work.
People who follow political parties that put children in concentration camps… are monsters.

Thanks Tom! I checked out the link and loved what I saw! And yes, children should never be locked in cages! It’s cruel to do so!

The circles create fascinating shadows. At first glance I thought these creations were made with glass, but a closer examination shows them to be much more delicate and interesting.

The three sculptures were all hanging on the same wall, but the light hit them differently. Hopefully I’ll have to go back again some day and see how they look when the sun comes in through the window. Thanks for always reading, Jane! 🙋

These are beautiful images you’ve captured Sabine … at a glance it looked like a bejeweled beehive but up close it is much more than that.

Bejeweled beehive! I love it Linda! It was such a sight! I love how the fisheye app made the sculptures spring to live. 🙋

That is what it looked like to me Sabine – beautiful. The fisheye app does make the sculpture seem like you could reach out and touch it.

Normal and fisheye views are both striking. Glad U posted both.
