Fluffy … puffy
cotton candy clouds,
sweet memories of times past.
Warm summer days
lazily drifting away
like clouds in the sky.
Prickly … tickly
tall blades of grass,
sweet memories of times past.
Warm summer days
lazily gazing through poppies
up at the sky.
The poppy paintings were inspired by one of my favorite YouTube artists, The Art Sherpa!
Lovely post Sabine. I love your cloud photos.

I really like your beautiful pictures of clouds and your paintings of clouds and poppies Sabine. I remember as a kid, on my back in the grass and gazing toward the sky. Guess my little friends and me had big dreams and hopes for the future as we lazed our Summer days away.

Thanks Linda! We did the same things as kids, laying on our backs in the tall grass. We’d watch the clouds glide by and then we’d roll down a small hill that was covered with dry hay. It was itchy and messy, but so much fun.

Simple pleasures Sabine. They were the best and it’s good to look back on them, just like running an old film reel of home movies in our minds.
