Amazing detail in the close up shots. We watched a PBS show a few weeks back that featured a man to “draws” on the beach. These photos reminded me of that. Fabulous!
Thanks Missy! Saw all kinds of interesting driftwood at the beach last week. Several pieces were covered with barnacles, which I had never seen before. I also liked the patterns the fungi created on the wood. Nature is amazing. Seeing all this made me wonder where all these pieces of driftwood came from. I’ll check on the PBS show.
One of my favorite destinations! This beach had some of the most amazing pieces of driftwood. Very few people there this time of year, which makes it even more fun and enjoyable.
“Weathered mysteries
Washed ashore by pounding surf.
Where did they come from?”
Have been wanting to back to you on this lovely haiku of perfection! Visual, thoughtful, rhythmical – like it just flowed out of you with ease (even if it didn’t, it feels that way)! 🙂
I have seen a few of your Zunday Zen posts and been very impressed. I like the combination of an introductory photo, a poem, and a slide show [with a well-chosen change interval!] that emphasizes closeups, with all those elements closely related and beautifully done.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I am happy that you enjoy the Zunday Zen posts! They are fun to do. I shall continue to create these posts in the New Year! Happy Holidays and thanks for visiting!

Interesting lines, curves, patterns, textures… some of them look like strokes from a paint brush! Lovely beach images 🙂
