Thank you Marlene! The monks arrived just as I was getting ready to leave, so stayed a bit longer and watched them have a great time. I loved seeing them! Brian and I were married by a monk in an orange robe. I’d be willing to go back again if you want!
I couldn’t help myself but fall in love with these tulip fields! 💐
Plus, I got some other garden tips for later in the spring. I hope you’ll come along! 😉

Don’t think I’ll go back into the fields but looking forward to your tips. I had no idea you were married by a monk. 🙂 Very interesting.

It was Brother Mokshananda at the Self Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades. 😊 Enjoy the sun and I’ll check on our get-together for this week.

I like the mix of near and far views, and I love the thru-lighting of the near views. Best tulip pix I have ever seen.

Thank you so much! This turned out be one of my favorite outings ever! Hard to describe, each step I took lead me to yet another amazing variety of tulips. I might have to go back one more time before it’s all over! 😉

Amazing; the tulips near and far with Mt Hood floating in the distance. What a lovely day for you!

It was! I actually went twice, once with Marlene and once alone. I think that I will go every year from now on. I’ve never experienced anything quite like it!

Beautiful featured photo! I’ll have to look at the slideshow later on my computer, my ipad doesn’t have java. I’ve been waiting for this post since you mentioned you were going there! 🙂

If you have a chance to visit the tulip farm next year, it’s worth it. A little bit like Holland. Also, the Portland area is beautiful. A little bit like the Black Forest, gorgeous scenery never far away. I am working on another post about the tulips and also more about the place I call home now, and quite possibly the most beautiful place I’ve ever lived! 😊
