Lithia Park in Ashland! I couldn’t believe hearing a typewriter being used in the park. Made me feel nostalgic!

That’s what I thought when I walked through this scene. Almost felt a bit like a movie!

What a lovely park. I probably would have gone up to the typist and started a conversation. I love the sound of a typewriter. I stopped in Ashland during the winter when there was snow on the ground. Couldn’t figure my way around so didn’t see much. It’s so pretty.

Good morning Marlene! I thought about it, but the mood and atmosphere were so peaceful and almost magical. I didn’t want to disturb it! Plus I was talking to a retired logger about a gorgeous stand of Ponderosa Pine trees nearby. The town is actually quite easy to navigate once you figure it out. I like staying right in downtown, park the car and then walk everywhere. 😉

Looks like my dream backyard! Though laptops may be more practical, the phenomenon of an actual manual typewriter in the midst of a forested setting provides delightful cognitive dissonance, or maybe not…

It certainly was a big surprise to hear the sounds of a story or ?? being told on real paper! 😉
