Here’s to a happy weekend and a happy Mother’s Day!
To me that also means celebrating all the special woman in our lives, who aren’t necessarily our own mothers. The women I admire the most is Rosalie. Her kindness, creativity, love of gardening and reading, patience, honesty and spunk make her a very special person! Visiting her in California every summer is the highlight of my yearly road trip. Thank you Rosalie, for being a part of my life!

Happy belated Mother’s Day, Sabine! I hope you had a wonderful day. I haven’t been around on wordpress.com a lot lately. I moved my blog to a self-hosted page on wordpress.org. That was a LOT of work and I’m not sure it was the best idea 😉 Do you still get notifications of my posts now?

Hi Kathryn! I did get one or two notifications after you switched, and the funky ones too! 🙂 I’ve heard other blogger’s adventures trying to do this. Send me a link if it’s a different address now so that I can continue to follow your blog. My postings have been somewhat irregular as well for a while now. Life has a way of creating detours and potholes!
