Oh how I miss you Obama!!
Those who know me are familiar with my love for socks! Especially the fun ones!! On a recent trip to Bellingham, Washington, we came across this fantastic shop which sells only, well, socks! As you can see, the choices were nearly unlimited. Needless to say, I had to go in and while I was browsing I thought that this was the perfect opportunity to stock up on socks for Christmas, birthdays, or maybe a “Hey, I thought of you” surprise for …
In Germany, we would of course say “Die Qual der Wahl”, or “The Agony of Choice” in English. Fortunately for me, I know my sock-loving friends well enough to (hopefully) choose the perfect ones for each individual. I even got a pair for myself this time! 😉
If you find yourself in Bellingham, you should stop by this fun place! They also have excellent service and do online orders for those too far away. ModSock is located on Cornwall Ave. in Downtown Bellingham.

That’s almost as pretty as a display of flower bouquets! Loved the variety and I would have trouble choosing too. One day I will visit. 🙂 Have a zen Sunday too. Mine will be very Zen about 7 p.m. 🙂

Hey Marlene, it was quite an experience to look at all the different socks! My Sunday is going to be mellow! Finished coating the deck yesterday and now need it to cure until Tuesday. Until then I don’t want to stir up too much dust and dirt to stick to the finish!

My SIL just left and I’m having a wee drink before climbing in the shower. I smell of cigarettes. 😦 I love her, not the cigarettes or the apathy to her life. Good plan to let it dry fully before doing anything else. Till later..

One of my nephews went to college in Bellingham but I never ventured there myself. That’s quite a trip for you, no? If I ever do get there, I will check out that store. Like one of your other commentors said, it does look like a garden!

It’s 300 miles from Portland. If the traffic in Seattle isn’t too bad, it takes about 5 hours. It’s a gorgeous drive all the way up there, so I really don’t mind. We got stuck in traffic along a hillside covered in ferns and foxglove! First, but hopefully not last fun traffic jam!
