Happy Friday from my Garden!

Happy Friday!, In my Garden, Musings, Nature, Photography, The Four Seasons

The changing of seasons always reminds me that nothing in life is static. I’ve been spending a lot of time outside trying to soak in every last ray of sunshine. The daytime temperatures have cooled off, the nights are getting nippy, and we turned on the heater for the first time this morning.

The days are definitely getting shorter, the nights longer, and the mood in the garden and forest behind us seems to be saying:

“Almost time to get ready for winter”.

Even the honeybees are getting in on the action! They have been congregating at the gloriously bright yellow golden rod plants. They were planted a few years ago and are getting more beautiful each fall.

Happy Fall Equinox and have a great first autumn weekend!
