Koi carp are beautiful! I’ve often wished for a pond outdoors where I could have a few koi like these. This particular pond is at a local shopping mall in our area, and I never tire of watching them swim about, blow bubbles and interact with each other. Whenever people approach the pond, they immediately swim up to check out what’s happening…
Happy Friday and have a great weekend!

We used to have Koi. Just blogged about them early this morning. They got lost during the flood.

I totally agree with you, Sabine! They seem like such friendly fish (can fish be friendly?) We stayed at an Inn earlier this year that had koi that would swim up as soon as you stepped by the pond, almost to say “hello, feed me!” Have a great weekend!

What mall did you see them at? I don’t remember seeing any at my mall but then I don’t look anymore. I love watching fish. So relaxing. My niece has them in her pond in Albany but I don’t go down there. Spent my Friday getting plants into the greenhouse and faucet covered. Ready for winter. 🙂 Hope you enjoy the sunshine this weekend. Hugs.

Marlene, they are at the Town Center near Macy’s. Fish are relaxing to watch! That’s why I’ve always enjoyed keeping an aquarium. Nice to get your last yard chores in before the weather really turns. I still have some things to do outside. Enjoy the weekend! 🙋

A nice feature to have in a shopping centre, Sabine. It is live and constantly moving! The children must love them.
