The Olympia-Rafah Solidarity Mural Project in downtown Olympia, Washington State.

This project  was created in memory of Rachel Corrie, a young woman from Olympia. She was crushed to death in 2003 by Israeli bulldozers while defending the home of a Palestinian family.

There are 119 leaves on these olive tree branches, each one different, and created by peace loving individual humans and groups from around the world. It symbolizes the efforts and sacrifices of the many who have lost their lives in the fight for liberty and peace all around the world.

I wish you a peaceful Sunday!
