Zunday Zen … A Solitary Walk

Solitary walk
leaves crunching underfoot … in
autumn’s golden glow.

Sunshine, lustrous fall colors and silence are what I found on my afternoon hike.
I encountered only a handful of humans, one lone mushroom and a view of Mount Hood.
It appeared almost close enough to touch.

This nature park is just a short walk from my house.

I hope you had a Zen Sunday!

Very peaceful; the direct opposite of grocery shopping today 😳. Did you use a fish-eye lens? Great photos. Have a great week and happy Thanksgiving!

What a beautiful walk Sabine – very peaceful and tranquil here and you sure have captured the essence of this walk with your camera. Mount Hood looks like it is floating in the sky.

If you walk all the way to that park, around it and back home again, that’s quite the trek! It is beautiful though it’s been many years since I walked it and I certainly didn’t see it the way you do. Interesting how that is. 😉 You capture it in such a way as to make it worth another look. 😉 Maybe this spring. Hope your week is as wonderfilled.

Marlene, there are several entrances to the park and I’d love to go with you in the spring. One way in is through a neighborhood with huge meadows and those stands of trees in the last picture. From there it’s not far to the creek and the different habitats. I know you’d like it! 😉
