With tender loving care
my slice of paradise
thrives and blooms,
right here at home.

 

Last March, I brought back some plumeria tree cuttings from Maui, Hawaii. I was hoping that I would be able to root them this time. When I brought back a few cuttings before, they did not grow at all. Not only did the cuttings root this time around, but they also developed beautiful dark green leaves. When I got up Friday morning, the first blossoms had opened and filled the kitchen with a heavenly fragrance!

  1. Beautiful. We bought a plumeria every time we were in Hawaii, but this is the first time it is actually growing. Hopefully we’ll see some blossoms some day…
