Happy Friday from my Fall Garden!

Happy Friday!, In my Garden, Musings, Nature, Photography, The Four Seasons

It’s been raining here non-stop for a day and a half. That has left the air smelling crisp and clean. The leaves are starting to turn color every where you look! Hopefully we’ll get a little sunshine next week so that I can go on a hike to take some pictures of this gorgeous seasonal spectacle!

Do you have any plans to go enjoy the beautiful autumn leaves this weekend?

Have a great weekend,
Sabine

    • Thanks Arlene! I enjoy recording the changes of the seasons. Same garden, but always a little different! I’m sure your garden changes too! Living and gardening in a tropical climate like your’s would be fun and so different from here. 😊

      • Oh yes, sometimes there are plants that just sprout in a little corner. We have so many tropical plants at the garden center but I have not visited it for a while.

  1. The drops of water … really well captured! The colors have been spectacular and thanks to the wind the leaves on the maple tree outside my window are almost all scattered on the ground. Have a fabulous weekend, my friend!

  2. It is just beautiful out this autumn. Today was interesting. I got my groceries for the next two days so I don’t have to go back out in the rain they are predicting. Love your photos of the raindrops on everything. I’m kind of low energy with this weather right now. Maybe the time change will make it better.

    • Hi Marlene, glad you had a good day. I did a lot of thorough cleaning and a little relaxing. It really was beautiful outside and I loved all the raindrops glistening in the sun this afternoon. I’ll send you an email tomorrow. 😊

  3. I recently learned a new word that could describe your post – petrichor. It is the scent of air after a rain.

Love these photos, Sabine. Isn’t it beautiful how the rain polishes up everything and makes it shine?
