A couple of weeks ago I took a wrong turn while looking for the Oregon Garden. Silverton is a small town, and getting lost there seems almost impossible. I found a place to make a u-turn, and as I headed back towards downtown, I saw the 45th Parallel sign at the side of the road.
Looking up at the sign made me wonder…
… halfway point between …
At that exact moment in time in my life, I was exactly “in between” or at the halfway point between the North Pole and the Equator when crossing the 45th parallel.
Life’s halfway points aren’t always as easily recognizable!
What parallel are you on?
Happy Friday and have a great weekend!

What a lovely realisation! It’s not often we stop to think where we are on the map. How great that they put up a sign too! π As for me, I hope I am still in my early parallels… π

Thanks Snow! Life is an adventure and each midpoint opens up new avenues. Who knows whatβs around the corner. π

Thanks for pointing that out, Sabine. I’m on the behind parallel. ;( It’s so easy to get turned around trying to find something but then we get the bonus of learning something new along the way. Hope you are having a great pre-Thanksgiving weekend.
