When I discovered these incredible pieces of art on display in an office I’ve been to a number of times, it surprised even me that I had never noticed them before. I came back again after the appointment for a few more pictures and then googled the artist when I got home. On her website, Anne F. Crumpacker explains how an inspiration some twenty years ago led her to create these living topographies. Take a look at her other artwork online if you’re curious!

Have a Zen week!

  1. It’s stunning!! It’s funny what we don’t see unless we take the time to look. Most of us pass things all the time. It’s like looking for our keys when they are right in front of us. Have a wonderful week ahead.

The circles create fascinating shadows. At first glance I thought these creations were made with glass, but a closer examination shows them to be much more delicate and interesting.

    • The three sculptures were all hanging on the same wall, but the light hit them differently. Hopefully I’ll have to go back again some day and see how they look when the sun comes in through the window. Thanks for always reading, Jane! 🙋
