  1. Just gorgeous Sabine – of course we are all envious of the hummingbirds and flowers. Bring them on as we need some beauty to get us through the Winter doldrums.

    • I have lots more Linda! These photos were taken at the community garden at the park. It just happened. I always walk through and check on the raised beds when Iā€™m at the park. It the same corner where the swallows nested. I will put together some more of these posts!šŸ˜Š

      • I thought maybe it was your yard as you also have beautiful flowers. I’ve been to the Botanical Gardens at Heritage Park several times each Summer, but never got to see a hummingbird there … not the right place, right time as I’m told they are all over the place. I did see lots of butterflies though.

      • Thanks Sabine – I hope so too! I’ve been lucky with butterflies at the Botanical Gardens (there are a lot of them there) but people say there’s lots of hummers there … I think they are hiding from me! My hummingbird photos were not good as they were not close, but I felt lucky to get them after an entire Summer of seeing her when I was without the camera or with wet hands.
