Just gorgeous Sabine – of course we are all envious of the hummingbirds and flowers. Bring them on as we need some beauty to get us through the Winter doldrums.

I have lots more Linda! These photos were taken at the community garden at the park. It just happened. I always walk through and check on the raised beds when I’m at the park. It the same corner where the swallows nested. I will put together some more of these posts!😊

I thought maybe it was your yard as you also have beautiful flowers. I’ve been to the Botanical Gardens at Heritage Park several times each Summer, but never got to see a hummingbird there … not the right place, right time as I’m told they are all over the place. I did see lots of butterflies though.

I’m crossing my fingers for you to see lots of hummers this summer! Butterflies are fun too and almost harder to photograph than hummingbirds.

Thanks Sabine – I hope so too! I’ve been lucky with butterflies at the Botanical Gardens (there are a lot of them there) but people say there’s lots of hummers there … I think they are hiding from me! My hummingbird photos were not good as they were not close, but I felt lucky to get them after an entire Summer of seeing her when I was without the camera or with wet hands.
