Cute hummingbird and weren’t you cringing when it landed between the barbed wire? I see squirrels laying on the wire over the fence by the utility building near the parking lot. In the Summer when it’s very hot, they sploot on the wire, with legs hanging down, precariously close to the barbed wire sticking up and so sharp.
Linda, they just know where to land. Squirrels, chipmunks and raccoons navigate the barbs expertly as well. Iβve never seen any of them get hurt. I guess practice makes perfect! π
