Every springtime Judy’s gorgeous clematis visits!
I’ll snip off a couple of slips to grow against the back fence.
My valerian plant is just about to flower.
Hummers really like them.
Dingo discovered my asparagus plants!
She loves it so much, she ate every single spear in sight.
I always leave some dandelions for Mr. Rabbit, but …
… I spotted him munching the kale this morning.
Oops! Caught!
😉
The French lilac is soooooo fragrant.
I always wish the flowers lasted longer.
Springtime also means the mourning doves are back.
This pair has been visiting us for many years.
Unfurling ferns and woodruff (German herb) growing in harmony.
Then there’s our puppy digging a hole to the other side of the world!
Mocha and Dingo have become best friends
who run, dig and get into mischief together.
A happy and tired pup is a good pup!
Watching it all from above is one of my favorite subjects:
The Hummingbird!
🙂
Happy Friday and have a delightful weekend!
Your yard is busy and beautiful, my friend. Have a great weekend!

I love when the weather is nice and we can finally be outside after being cooped up all winter! Have a great weekend too, Missy!

Love this pictures! I’m going to plant some Valerian. I’m kinda planting more perennials anyway. It’s a lot of work to plant annals and them the bugs or some invisible ghost are eating them like crazy.

Christine, you’ll like the valerian! It is pleasantly fragrant in the garden unlike the dried roots for tea. I planted several varieties of perennials right before we got the puppy. I’m crossing my fingers that the plants will survive! I haven’t seen many undesirable insects this spring and hope it stays that way.

Your garden is like a mini paradise Sabine. I see Mocha is at rest (not getting into trouble) near your husband – both have found peace in the garden. But oops – another place to dig and get dirt on that pretty white fur!
