Writing a blog had been on my mind for quite some time. Encouragement from friends helped me to finally start this blog. I’ve been working on it for a few months now. I’ve been learning something new every time I log onto WordPress. So far, I am enjoying it very much despite the fact that I have a long way to go. In reality though, without trying you can’t succeed.

incahootswithmuddyboots offers reflections on beauty in the world. Travel has taught me that life is often only as good as we choose to make it. It’s not the material things that make a person, but rather, who we are within ourselves and the world we live in.

Sharing my adventures of life, traveling,  vegetarian cooking and gardening in the form of writing and photography in a public forum will hopefully make it easier to stay connected with friends. I also hope to meet fellow bloggers here, share ideas, get feedback on my posts, and continue to learn as I explore the world of blogging.

My intention for the next year is to follow through with my blog. As an an expert procrastinator,  I need to keep myself accountable by posting regularly.  I want to remain open-minded about where I want to go with this blog. Nothing in life is static. We all constantly evolve and change. My blog will most likely reflect this. As the Spanish street artist so aptly said “Life is a dance between the heart and the soul”. Therefore, I will continue to look at life and the world from as many different angles as I can.

Thanks for visiting my blog, Sabine

  1. You are on a roll! Loved this. Life is a dance and sometime you have to get your boots muddy to really enjoy it. 🙂 Love the heart of your posts.
