Take time to smell the roses!
It’s so easy to forget.
Sometimes, chores should wait!
Busy, busy, busy.
“I can relax tomorrow!”
All too often
tomorrow never comes!
Nothing should be more important
then to make a little time for yourself!
A moment in your day
where you
simply stop
and smell the roses!

That’s so true! We all should try to do that… I do try to remember too look around and enjoy, every now and then. But often it’s just busy busy busy… Lovely photos!

Thanks! I make a point of it every day. Even if it’s just for 5 minutes. I always feel more at peace afterwards.

Hi Missy! Glad you got a chance to relax as well. This is the rose garden at the Milwaukie Center. It’s gorgeous right now!

So true. I find it easier to stop and smell the roses since retiring. I wish I’d slowed down to do so when I was younger.

I just cut mine way back and hope that they will come back better next year. If not, I’ll start from scratch. I remember walking through that garden. Those are beautiful roses.

I stopped there last Wednesday before the writing class. The weather was perfect, sunny and warm and the roses just gorgeous.

I deleted my photoblog last year due to lack of time. I don’t know if You’re using Radcliff as theme but it resembles mine. Maybe I will revive it in the winter when I have more time. No gardening to do 🙂

I am using the Ubud Theme. I really like it. There are a few things I don’t care for, but am pleased enough to keep it for now.

Thanks! I wanted the homepage to look sleek, and uncluttered. I checked quite a few themes, and went with this one in the end.
