At the crack of dawn
wind strewn small blossoms gathered.
No leaf blowers here!

Every morning on Maui, I awoke to the sounds of noisy birds, the waves breaking on the beach and the slow, rhythmic swooshing sound of a rake being guided across the grass to remove the fragrant plumeria blossoms which had fallen from the trees during the night. I sat on the balcony, watching and listening to this peaceful awakening of each new day.
And I was grateful that leaf no blowers were used at our hotel! šŸ™‚

  1. What a treat! I swear I can “feel” the scent with my sense memory … it was a long, long time ago. Gorgeous images! Thank you! šŸ™‚
