We all want to connect: with nature, other human beings, animals, ourselves, the universe, the past, present and future. The way connections are made has changed a great deal over the last decade or so. We used to pick up the phone (probably a landline), call a friend, hear their voice and chat. Or maybe one would stop by a friend’s house to say hello. Today, the preferred method of connecting with others appears to be texting, Facebook, Instagram, blogs and email. Connectivity can be enhanced through clear communication and by identifying the content and topic of a message. This is true in all corners of the globe.

Our friends are no longer central so we keep touch the best way we can. I still prefer personal connection. Loved all the pictures.

Nothing beats a hug! But sometimes the best we can do is click “send”.
